Ralejay Llamas & Dachshunds is located in the beautiful rolling countryside about 50 miles southeast of Champaign, Illinois, or 50 miles northwest of Terre Haute, Indiana.

We purchased our first llama, a 4-month old male, in 1998. We had so much fun with him in parades, showing, and petting zoos in that next year. Sadly, some unscrupulous hunters stole him from our property while we were away, and he was lost to us.

We immediately went out and purchased two more, a male and a female this time. We just couldn't imagine life without a llama! And, as they say, the rest is history!

We have show llamas, guard llamas, 4H and FFA llamas, breeding llamas, and geldings - geldings make great pets, pack animals, and excellent guard animals! We have animals perfect for 4H and FFA projects and specialty animal production and care.

We have also raised and shown Standard Smooth Dachshunds for over 20 years. The addition of the llamas was a good fit! They interact well with the dogs!

We are a small, hands-on farm. We take pride in making sure any animal we would choose to sell will have a good home!

We also offer for sale "Lighted Llamas"! They are a great way to light up the walkway or as a night light. We have ours on a timer for convenience and so we can see the effect of the lights ourselves when we first drive up. You can see the light for at least half a mile! Townspeople drive out just to view the lights! Please contact us for more information!
